What: Three hour program designed to introduce your preschooler to wildlife and the process of being away from home for the first time.
Who:
ZOOKIDS - Children ages three to four and a half years
KINDERZOO - Children ages four and a half to five years
All participants must be completely potty trained (NO PULL UPS).
Where: Conservation Education Building
When: One three hour class per week, for four weeks. See below for specific dates.
Time: Morning sessions 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon sessions 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Cost: Member - $85/session
Non-member - $95/session

It’s not too late for May! Call us to schedule your child’s space now!

During each half day visit, your ZooKid will learn about a different animal, explore the Zoo, enjoy a snack and create a special art project designed for little hands. A friendly critter will pop in for an up close visit too!

Topics are repeated June and July.  August is a different topic, so your preschooler is welcome to join us for a second summer session! 
 
When you register your child for summer, don't forget to let us know your child's shirt size!  Shirts are children's sizes - small (6-8), medium (10-12), large (14-16).
 
SAMPLE SCHEDULE
9 a.m. – Check in time feel free to play with your big people before saying goodbye.
9:30 a.m. – Wave goodbye to your big people, it’s time to head to the carpet, go over the rules and enjoy a short lesson.
10 a.m. – Time to wash hands and head over to a table for a tasty snack!
10:30 a.m. – After bathroom break, it’s time to work on our craft.
11:15 a.m. – Everyone get with their buddy and find your space on the rope, we’re heading out for a walk!
11:45 a.m. – Let’s head back to the carpet and meet today’s animal visitor.
12 p.m. – Time to reunite with your big people and head home!
